About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Executive – (FMCG Distribution-HORECA Segment), you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility under the general guidance of the Sales Manager of Food & Beverage and will include key responsibilities such as:
Have comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all the outlets unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies and those of the competition.
Generate new and maintain existing customer relationship through various sales activities and create awareness of the hotel outlets and facilities through face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, site inspections etc. to ensure complete coverage of own portfolio of accounts and achieve set targets and maximum possible productivity.
Identifying market potential in order to establish new account, achieve food service sales volume, revenue and profitability goals.
Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers so as to provide products and services that meet standard of quality, timeliness and cost.
Responsible for achieving the given targets/objectives
Responsible for money collection from the customers
Responsible for monthly sales targets
Monitor and inform about competitor activities
Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and suggest necessary actions
• Overall responsible for customer database
Skills
Skills:
Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Technology or equivalent professional
Minimum 5 years Sales & Marketing experience handling Food Service accounts specific to HORECA customers in the region.
Strong Food Service contacts
Ability to deal at all levels from Unit Head Chefs and Contract Catering Managers through to Buyer level
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results
Hold a UAE driver’s license and/or own vehicle
