Material Engineer

• To coordinate with in-house & external laboratories to arrange testing of products and raw materials and verify the reported results against the requirement / specification. • To follow up with agencies (like testing lab, calibration agency, material supplier) to gather required documents (MTC, Test report, Data Sheet, MSDS etc.) • To identify relevant portions of project specification related to concrete products and concrete ingredients to prepare Compliance Statement / Comparison Statement / Technical Submission for concrete products & raw ingredients. Skills • Worked with company into manufacturing of Concrete Products (Paver/Tile/kerb) / Precast / Ready Mixed Concrete. • Clear understanding about Concrete, Concrete products & concrete ingredients. • Conversant with the requirements of BS, BS-EN & ASTM standards related to concrete products & raw materials. • Familiar with Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Calibration Plan for Monitoring & Measuring Devices. Ability to ensure testing & calibration as scheduled • Familiar with requirements of Dubai / Abu Dhabi Municipality related to concrete pavers/ tiles /kerb etc. • Conversant to use Word, Excel for daily work, can categorize various documents, records and maintain them in soft and hard form for future reference. • Familiar with documentation requirements of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001. • Knowledge of In-house testing of products /materials will be an added advantage.
