Head of Costing

• Analyzing and evaluating pricing and costing systems of the goods and services of the healthcare organization. • Responsible for financial reporting and providing financial support for various departments. The value of services in healthcare organizations determines the value of the services that flow through healthcare supply chains. • Responsible for business planning, preparing, variance analysis, coordinating the budget with management, and performing revisions or simulations if needed. Participating in quarterly and annual budgets. • Responsible for daily administrative operations, monitoring expenses, and suggesting cost-effective alternatives. • Developing policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient costing & financial management. • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and procedures to capture, track, and report cost data. • Responsible for profitability and margin management. • Payroll management manages payroll cost allocation and all other staff cost management, direct & indirect. • Responsible for implementing Activity-based costing (ABC), which breaks organizational resource use down by patient, provider, service line, diagnosis-related group, or other relevant categories. Provide a more accurate and granular view of the costs of each service or product used in patient care. • Estimating the total cost of each clinical department, the cost report uses traditional costing methods to allocate overhead costs to clinical departments, allowing hospitals to estimate the total cost of each. • Engaging physicians who can increase physician engagement to advance their cost accounting approach. • Reviewing contracts, financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and compensation evaluation.
