About the role
• Rack and stack servers and associated hardware in datacenter cabinets or racks.
• Perform initial hardware configurations and ensure proper cable management.
• Install and configure network switches, routers, and firewalls to support server connectivity.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues during installation and post-installation phases.
• Document all installation procedures, configurations, and network diagrams.
Skills
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a focus on datacenter server installation.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware and configurations.
• Proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
• Experience with datacenter infrastructure management tools and systems.
