About the role

Business Development Manager Ele Interior requires a Business Development Manager for their Luxury Interior Design business. The applicant needs to be comfortable building relationships, creating strategies to promote the business, working alongside marketing initiatives and helping to enable this. In addition the candidate should have experience in approaching all types of clients, closing deals & being creative with a passion or interest in developing networks & selling design for high end luxury spaces. The company Is expanding their team, we offer a fantastic opportunity to grow with uncapped sales targets and to work with a friendly & positive company. Responsibilities: • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. • Planning, implementing and overseeing new marketing initiatives. • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities. • Increasing the value of current customers, developing sales through existing leads, while attracting new ones. • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales. • Managing and increasing Company Database, marketing the company to generate sales using all resources. • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. • Developing quotes and proposals for clients. • Training personnel and helping team members understand the inclusion of marketing and sales opportunities into their tasks. • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services. • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers • Effective intercompany liaison with the Implementation teams • Coordinate our social media strategy and presence together with the Web developer & Social Media Manager • Site visits to follow up, maintain relations and collaborate design into the execution of the projects. • Management of your sales targets, the organisation and reporting to the Company Director • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned Requirements: • Experience or an Interest in Interior Design & Sales • Presentable • Strong communication skills and IT fluency. • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task. • Excellent organizational skills. • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. • Marketing experience • Proficient in CRM systems, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Hands on approach to ensure work Is completed • Driving License • If you are fluent in additional languages this is preferred but not essential. Skills • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets. • An excellent manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally. • A professional manner and presentable appearance for meeting customers/clients. • Initiative and good decision-making skills. • Project management skills. • The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals. • Great organisational skills. • Good networking skills. • The ability to think strategically & analyse sales figures and write reports. • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
