About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team and drive growth in the UAE local market. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base in UAE. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay up-to-date with market trends in UAE.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and local businesses.
• Identify and approach potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting our products/services effectively.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the UAE market and achieve sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of our products/services.
• Responding to RFQ/RFI’s within the requisite timeline
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential threats or opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the management team.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements in Qatar to ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
Skills
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Business Development Specialist or a similar role in UAE, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the local market.
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE local market, including key industries, competitors, and market dynamics.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close sales, and achieve revenue targets.
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data to make informed business decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (Bilingual)
• Holds a valid UAE Residency
• Holds a valid UAE Driving License
