About the role
As our new AWS Account Executive within our Cloud Sales & Services business, you will drive the adoption of AWS by positioning cloud infrastructure, migration, and modernization solutions in close collaboration with AWS field teams, solution architects, and internal delivery specialists.
You will build strong customer relationships, guide organizations through their cloud transformation journey, and close high‑value opportunities across the Saudi Arabia market. Your objective is to accelerate AWS consumption by identifying, developing, and securing strategic cloud opportunities while supporting customers in achieving successful and sustainable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Own the full AWS sales cycle within a defined territory, from lead generation to closing net‑new and expansion opportunities across infrastructure, migration, and modernization
Build structured account and territory plans aligned with AWS priorities, using programs such as MAP, OLA, and EDP to accelerate adoption and secure funding
Co‑sell with AWS field teams (Account Managers, PSMs, SAs) and develop joint go‑to‑market strategies that drive shared customer outcomes
Lead consultative conversations with C‑level and technical stakeholders to position AWS as a strategic cloud platform and uncover transformation opportunities
Translate customer needs into compelling technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with Cloud Architects and delivery teams
Maintain strong pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting, and CRM hygiene to support operational excellence and successful delivery
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in cloud solution sales within AWS, a hyperscaler, or an AWS partner environment, with a track record of driving infrastructure, migration, or modernization opportunities
- Solid understanding of AWS programs (MAP, OLA, EDP, WAFR, FTR) and the ability to leverage them to support customer outcomes
- Familiarity with AWS partner models and co‑sell processes, working effectively with AWS field teams
- Skilled in pipeline management, forecasting, and disciplined deal execution
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities across technical and business stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating across multicultural, geographically distributed teams
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Business Professional certification is a plus
