E-commerce Data Analyst

We're hiring E-commerce Data Analysts to review, categorize, and improve product data that powers AI-driven shopping and recommendation systems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — open to anyone with strong organizational instincts and a sharp eye for quality. No prior e-commerce or retail experience required. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Review product listings for accuracy, completeness, and correct categorization Evaluate AI-generated product descriptions and recommendation outputs Tag and classify products using structured category systems and guidelines Identify duplicate, misleading, or low-quality product entries Provide clear, structured feedback to help improve AI-powered product search and discovery Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Familiar with online shopping platforms and how product categories work Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic, consistent approach Comfortable working with structured data and web-based tools Strong written communication skills — able to document feedback clearly Self-motivated and reliable when working independently No e-commerce, retail, or AI experience required
