About the role
Sea Logistics Sales Representative is a key contributor within the Sea Logistics sales channel, responsible for driving business growth through the acquisition of new customers and the development of SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises). The role focuses primarily on hunting new businesses (FCL & LCL) while also nurturing existing accounts and identifying cross-business selling opportunities.
How you create impact
Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers within the sea logistics business unit through active hunting, lead generation, and networking
Manage and grow a portfolio of SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored sea logistics solutions, and to develop new business (FCL & LCL)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers
Identify and drive upselling, cross-selling, and business opportunities within existing and new accounts
Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring clear visibility of opportunities and accurate forecasting
Lead and support RFQs and tenders, ensuring compliance with sales guidelines, phases, and KPIs
Maintain accurate and high-quality customer, opportunity, and stakeholder data in the systems
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to maximize engagement and increase business conversion
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within logistics or freight forwarding
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing small and medium-sized customer accounts
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Solid understanding of sea logistics products, solutions, and commercial processes
- Experience managing sales pipelines, RFQs, and tender processes
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Willingness to travel when required
