About the role
Fortis is a fast-growing fintech company on a mission to digitize commerce for small and medium-sized businesses across the UAE. Our platform gives merchants everything they need to accept payments, run their operations, and access financial products — all in one place.
We work with thousands of SMB merchants and we're growing fast. The people we hire already understand this world — the merchant mindset, the payment flows, the objections, the competitive landscape. You won't need to learn the basics here. You'll come in ready to win.
We're not hiring for a title. We're hiring for a payments track record.
If you've sold payment terminals, acquiring services, payment gateways, POS systems, or broader fintech solutions to SMBs — and you have the numbers to back it up — we want to talk.
We have open roles across three levels:
→ Early in your career, but already proven in payments
You know how to work a pipeline, handle objections, and close. You've sold payment or fintech products to merchants, you've hit your numbers, and you're hungry to do more of it — at higher volume and higher stakes.
→ 3–5+ years in payments sales, consistently above target
You have a clear record of hitting and exceeding quota selling payments or fintech solutions in the UAE market. You manage complex deals, you know how merchants think and buy, and you're ready to take on more ownership — of a bigger book, a bigger number, or a team.
→ You've led payments sales teams before and know how to build ones that last
You've designed go-to-market motions, set KPIs, hired and developed reps, and driven merchant acquisition at scale. You've done this in the UAE, in payments or financial services for SMBs — and you have the results to show for it.
What we're looking for
