About the role

Trella is seeking a Cross-Border Commercial Lead to build, scale, and own the commercial performance of our cross-border logistics operations. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key shipper accounts, developing supply networks, and building a high-performing cross-border commercial team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on commercial leader with strong experience in sales, account management, supply acquisition, and market expansion within cross-border or international logistics. What You'll Do: Commercial & Sales Leadership Own and grow cross-border revenue across assigned corridors and markets. Develop and execute the cross-border commercial strategy in line with Trella’s growth objectives. Acquire new shipper accounts and expand existing ones through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships. Manage pricing, negotiations, contracts, and commercial terms with customers. Account Management Act as the main point of contact for key cross-border shipper accounts. Ensure high customer satisfaction through reliable execution, proactive communication, and performance reviews. Work closely with operations to ensure service quality, SLA adherence, and issue resolution. Identify opportunities to increase wallet share and long-term contract commitments.

What we're looking for

  • 6–10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or cross-border trade.
  • Proven track record in sales, key account management, and revenue growth.
  • Experience building and managing commercial teams is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cross-border operations, pricing, and supply dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong commercial judgment.
