About the role

Job AdWe’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer Evangelist​ to join Procore’s Infrastructure Platform division to work on our commercial initiatives. In this role, you’ll help build and evangelize Procore’s next-generation construction compute platform for others to build upon, including Procore developers, analysts, partners, and customers. As a Principal Software Engineer Evangelist, you’ll partner with other engineers and product managers across Product & Technology to develop and maintain compute platform capabilities that enable SaaS based products to operate in a secure and compliant environment. A core part of this role is focusing on internal developer enablement, ensuring a seamless platform experience, and evangelizing platform features and best practices. To be successful in this role, you’re passionate about distributed systems on the cloud with experience in operating and maintaining cloud based products at-scale. If you’re an engineer comfortable and excited about building our next-generation platform and translating problems into pragmatic solutions that open up the boundaries of technical possibilities—we’d love to hear from you! This position reports to the Enablement Manager for Infrastructure Platform and will be based in our Cairo office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately. What you’ll do: AI is central to how we work. You’ll be expected to master generative tools and agentic workflows, moving beyond just using AI to actively building the agentic future of construction. Lead in the design and implementation of our next-generation platform for the construction industry, primarily focused on building and supporting distributed systems, internal developer experience, and ease of adoption. Act as a platform evangelist, creating documentation, leading training sessions, and sharing best practices to enable internal engineering teams to utilize platform features effectively. Drive and support the engineering team
