Driver - Fleet Maintenance

About the role
Transport physical documents, files, and materials between the Fleet Maintenance Section and other departments or external parties as required.
Assist with moving vehicles, scrap, and spare parts to designated areas such as the yard or workshops.
Support the team by delivering and collecting documents for approvals, signatures, and coordinator processing.
Purchase and collect small maintenance parts or consumables from the market using petty cash, ensuring proper receipts and documentation.
Ensure vehicles and materials are transported safely, in compliance with company driving and safety regulations.
Assist with basic logistical tasks to support workshop operations and smooth daily functioning of the department.
Report any issues, delays, or incidents related to driving, deliveries, or material handling to the line manager.
Maintain assigned vehicles in good condition, ensuring timely refuelling, cleanliness, and adherence to maintenance schedules.
The responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include additional tasks/projects as assigned by the line manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
High school certificate or equivalent (preferred); candidates with lower formal education may also be considered based on skills and suitability.
Experience:
Entry-level role, open to freshers; exposure to fleet, transport, or automotive environments will be considered beneficial.
Experience in handling petty cash and small procurement tasks is an advantage.
Preferred Certifications:
Valid UAE driving license (Light Vehicle required; Heavy Vehicle license is an advantage).
Basic Health & Safety awareness certification is a plus.
