The Jordan Red Crescent Society is seeking a dedicated Project Accountant to join our team in Amman. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and transparency of our humanitarian projects. The Jordan Red Crescent Society is a leading humanitarian organization committed to alleviating human suffering and supporting vulnerable communities across Jordan. In this position, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, expenditure tracking, financial reporting, and compliance with donor requirements. You will work closely with project teams to ensure financial resources are utilized effectively to achieve project objectives while maintaining strict adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Reporting directly to the Head of Mission/Finance Manager, you will collaborate with the Admin Officer, Medical Coordinator, and Reporting Officer to ensure seamless coordination between financial management and project implementation. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of humanitarian assistance while maintaining the highest standards of financial accountability.
