WPP Media: Accountant- Amman

WPP Media, the global media collective of WPP, is seeking a dedicated Finance Accountant to join our team in Amman, Jordan. As part of the world's leading creative transformation company, you'll contribute to building better futures through the power of creativity while ensuring financial excellence in media operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial operations related to media transactions, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting for advertising campaigns and media purchases. You'll work closely with media buying and marketing teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, compliance, and analysis of media spend, playing a critical role in our financial integrity and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing account status and balances while identifying inconsistencies, issuing and posting bills, receipts, and invoices, and validating debit accounts. You will maintain and update the accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments, ensure clients remain informed about outstanding debts and deadlines, provide solutions to client-related financial problems, and prepare thorough reports on billing activity with clear, reliable data.
