Secondary English Teacher

Whitman Academy, an international Christian school in Amman, Jordan, is dedicated to supporting Kingdom work by delivering an excellent Christian education in English to Third Culture Kids. We foster inspired learning and guided opportunities in servant leadership to prepare students for meaningful impact. We are seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the classroom environment, nurturing student growth and development, and delivering instruction aligned with the school's Mission, Vision, and Core Values. This role involves creating a dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere that supports student-centered interactive lessons and adheres to the established curriculum and pacing guides. The ideal educator will have a passion for serving Third Culture Kids and a desire to use their teaching gifts to contribute to Kingdom work in the Middle East. This position offers the opportunity to integrate Biblical principles and a Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum, fostering holistic development in students.
