About the job:
In this interesting role you will be working in our Operations Department, within the Recycling Operations Division.
The Operations Engineer Developee role is designed for Qatari Nationals to support recycling operations related to construction and demolition waste, while developing technical, operational, and engineering capabilities through on-the-job training and mentorship.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Adherence to quality, health & safety, information security and business continuity policies.
Support day-to-day recycling operations under supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site activities.
Assist in monitoring operational performance, material flow, and production levels to support uninterrupted operations.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving the quality of recycled materials in line with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
Support supervision of subcontractor activities at recycling sites to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing, analysis, and documentation to ensure compliance with QCS and relevant standards.
Assist in monitoring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, graders, and haul trucks.
Support routine equipment inspections and report potential maintenance requirements to the relevant teams.
Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Assist in preparing periodic operational and technical reports related to site activities, quality results, and subcontractor performance.
Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth day-to-day recycling site operations.
Support coordination with government entities related to environmental compliance, inspections, and permits.
