About the role
Job Title: Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and strong skills in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
Monitor accounts payable and receivable
Assist in preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Maintain proper filing of financial documents
Assist in budgeting and expense tracking
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (journal entries, ledgers, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Good organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar)
Basic knowledge of financial reporting
Good communication skills
