About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join a leading Retail & F&B company based in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions, bring strong financial analytical capabilities, deep expertise in managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, and the ability to support strategic business decisions through accurate financial insights. Arabic language proficiency is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closing processesPrepare, analyze, and present detailed P&L statements and financial reports to senior managementConduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growthEnsure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesMonitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance across retail and F&B operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiativesManage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodiesDevelop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Experience, skills and attributes for this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred)Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within Retail or F&B sectorsStrong expertise in financial analysis and P&L managementProven leadership experience managing accounting teamsAdvanced proficiency in accounting systems and ERP softwareExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsFluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary package offered: SAR21-23k pm all inclusiv
