Middle School Math Teacher

Overview OWIS Riyadh is seeking a dedicated and experienced Middle School Math Teacher to deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the American Curriculum and the school’s academic standards. The ideal candidate will engage students through student-centered learning while building strong mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. Job Purpose To teach Mathematics to Middle School students following the American Curriculum framework, ensuring effective curriculum delivery while developing students’ numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in alignment with school standards and MOE requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the American Curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core or equivalent). Develop students’ understanding of key mathematical concepts, including number sense, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Use a variety of teaching strategies to support differentiated and student-centered learning. Assess, record, and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments, providing constructive and timely feedback. Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, and examinations in line with school policies. Support students in developing critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning. Communicate regularly with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and when required regarding student progress. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and participate in school initiatives and activities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, or a related field. Teaching qualification or education diploma (as per MOE requirements). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics. Strong subject knowl
