Role Overview The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting functions with a strong focus on tax compliance, payroll processing, and social insurance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who can ensure accuracy in financial records, maintain compliance with Egyptian regulations, and handle interactions with tax authorities efficiently. Key Responsibilities Taxation & Compliance Prepare, review, and submit tax returns, including:VATPayroll TaxWithholding TaxPerform tax reconciliations and ensure alignment between accounting records and tax filingsHandle tax inspections and audits and respond to inquiries from tax authoritiesPrepare annual tax filings, including Form 41Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws and stay updated with regulatory changes Payroll & Social InsuranceManage end-to-end monthly payroll processingCalculate salaries, taxes, deductions, bonuses, and overtimeHandle social insurance registration and contributionsEnsure compliance with labor law and insurance regulationsResolve payroll discrepancies and employee-related issues Accounting & Reporting Record journal entries related to payroll, taxes, and general accountingAssist in monthly and year-end closingPrepare financial and management reportsMonitor and reconcile general ledger accountsSupport financial statement preparation Audit & Internal Control Support internal and external auditsMaintain proper documentation for all financial transactionsEnsure strong internal controls and compliance proceduresIdentify areas for improvement in accounting processes Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–5 years of experience as an AccountantStrong experience in:T
